Here’s the news for this week
Sneak Peek at Rules Guide
I’ve been plugging away at the rules frameworks for both systems (both Dungeons & Dragons™ and The Pathfinder® Roleplaying Game) when I can, and I’m ready to show off the latest preview:
This will be a long-term project so don’t expect anything quickly. But it is best to build a house on a solid foundation and that is the goal.
Pathfinder Remaster Preview
There doesn’t seem to be a fixed link yet, but Paizo announced the other day a preview of the Remaster rules for their latest Adventure Path. As expected, the changes are almost entirely in line with my planned changes for Ashen Frontiers, so no real surprises here (yet).
Character Sheets Update
As mentioned, making updates to the system guides and the character sheets tends to have knock-on effects. So, while I’ve discovered several things to update, and I believe I am incredibly close to the character sheets I’ll use at Gen Con next month, I need a bit more time to sync things up. Expect a Patreon release soon, perhaps even an off-release day drop as early as tomorrow.
But here’s a preview of the black-and-white CC 5e version:
The Broken World in Print
I’ve ordered the PoD proof of The Broken World and am eagerly anticipating it. With Gen Con 2023 on the horizon, receiving it and reviewing it before then grows less likely every day. Time will tell, of course. The updated PDF can be had here.
Gen Con 2023
I’ve got the snacks on top of the backpack. I’ve got the manilla folders ready to receive the demo adventure The Lost Vault of Theadira. I’ve got travel arrangements locked down. About all I need is a few more folks for the Thursday and Friday sessions.
REDBUBBLE
If you’re wanting to help out with Ashen Frontiers, the Redbubble is available 24-7.
Socials
Remember the Discord. While Gen Con is on, any live updates are almost certain to be found there and almost nowhere else.
Since Elon seems determined to set Twitter on fire just to watch it burn, here’s a reminder that I’m on Mastodon, Threads and Facebook.
And, of course, share out the newsletter if you know anyone that might be interested:

That’s it, folks. Thank You!
